La haute fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 est le r\u00e9alisme d\u2019une situation. La haute technologie est l\u2019utilisation de mannequins de simulation sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s. EPICC utilise une simulation haute fid\u00e9lit\u00e9. Dans certaines situations, on peut \u00e9galement utiliser des mannequins de haute technologie. L\u2019EPICC utilise des m\u00e9thodes d\u2019apprentissage et d\u2019\u00e9valuation fond\u00e9es sur des donn\u00e9es probantes pour stimuler pleinement l\u2019apprenant adulte. Un contenu th\u00e9orique est disponible en ligne avant de se pr\u00e9senter au cours. Les diff\u00e9rents programmes EPICC utilisent des m\u00e9thodes d\u2019apprentissage compos\u00e9es d\u2019\u00e9tudes de cas et de simulation en petits et grands groupes \u2013 il n\u2019y a pas d\u2019enseignement avec des pr\u00e9sentations type PowerPoint.
